VENDOR APPLICATION

Please read special note at bottom of page for Insurance information for this event.

WHERE:   TY (Topeekeegee Yugnee) PARK

                    3300 N Park Rd, Hollywood, FL 33021

Amount:  $200 covers all 3 days.... but be done by July 31, 2016

WHEN:   MONDAY AUGUST 29, TUESDAY AUGUST 30, AND WEDNESDAY AUGUST 31

                 VENDOR SET UP 8 AM MONDAY/OR EVERY DAY

                 OPEN TO PUBLIC AT 10 AM TO 6 PM  MONDAY 29TH, TUESDAY 30TH, WEDNESDAY 31

                 IF YOU TEAR DOWN EACH NIGHT...MUST BE OUT OF PARK BY 7:30 PM

                 ALL additional vehicles must be moved out of the festival grounds area by 9:30 am and put into a regular parking space

                provided in the park.

                 Necessary inspections will begin a half hour prior to opening to the public.

All people/volunteers must give information for background check before being about to work at the festival.

​

DEADLINE

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED ASAP

VENDOR SPACE

:

Booth space is limited to a single 12’x12’ booth (including all wires, stakes, poles, etc.) with a good roof that can withstand wind, rain and other inclement weather. Come prepared for all types of weather. You must secure your booth in case of windy conditions.

All items being sold or displayed must be contained in booth space.

ELECTRICITY

 

:

Vendors must list all electrical connections on application. Electrical arrangements must be made prior to your arrival. 15 amp/110 volt only. Last minute electrical changes will not be accepted. All generators must be approved by BackLot Studios Inc. and TY (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park.

WEATHER

:

The festival will not be cancelled because of rain. This is an outdoor event; be prepared for any type of weather. Tents, canopies and pop -ups must be secured to withstand the weather.

CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE

:

A current Certificate of Insurance is required for all vendors naming BackLot Studios Inc. and Broward County, Board of County Commissioners as an additional insured. Certificate of Insurance is required before set-up.

REQUIREMENTS

:

The exhibitor will be responsible to be open during the entire festival. You cannot vacate early. Your booth must be neat, attractive and well -maintained. Signage with visible and clear pricing is required. You are responsible for setting up, maintaining and removing your own booth, merchandise and trash.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Please mail, or email the following items for approval (you can scan and attach to email) or submit online, you will also have the option to pay by PayPal.

​

1. Application (you can print fill out and mail or scan to attach to email or submit online with form provided)

​

2.  Payment is only by Certified Check or  Paypal... you do not have to have a pay pal account to do so

​

3.  Affirmation & Liabity Release...again this can be mailed, attached to an email

​

4.  Certificate of insurance  (naming both Broward County, Board of County Commissioners and BackLot Studios Inc)

​

5.  Photo of your booth/any high-quality photo for our website and advertising.

​

SPECIAL NOTE:  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!

Certificate(s) of Insurance Requirements 1. Include language: Name Broward County, Board of County Commissioners as an Additional Insured and as Certificate Holder for all day(s) of event, and BackLot Studios Inc.

​

Provide BackLot Studios Inc. General Liability:  proof of a Comprehensive General or Commercial Liability Policy (minimum $500,000). Limits: $ Bodily injury and property damage. Limits: $ Auto, bodily injury, property damage, worker’s comp, employers’ liability.

​

Food and/or Beverage Vendor Service: Provide  BackLot Studios and/Broward County Parks and Recreation Division with proof of General Liability Policy and must include Products Liability Coverage of a minimum of $500,000. Permittee must select only Broward County Parks and Recreation approved vendors. Limits: $ Food/Product Vendors (# ). Limits: $ Soft Drink/Beverage Vendors (# ).
